El Camino Chemistry Tutor - An Online Game That Takes Less Time

El Camino Chemistry Tutor - An Online Game That Takes Less TimeEl Camino Chemistry Tutor is a great way to study. This new book uses the traditional method of learning to teach chemistry with video games and quizzes. It doesn't take a lot of effort or time and will teach you how to perform basic operations of the chemical reaction that goes on in your kitchen every day.The tutor will give you some tips on how to solve the problems that are shown on the game. And the questions will help you solve the problem, too. You will know how to create an item like a nail that you can use to get out a picture, which then points to a picture. Of course, you will get to see each step of the method in the guide. The tutor has a lot of online training courses, so you don't have to worry about learning about the game and then training on how to play it. The tutors will walk you through the step-by-step process of solving the problem and doing the analysis, as well. You can learn all about the chemical reactions while sitting in your own home, when you are tired from a full day of work. You can also select a route that will let you move from different buildings or areas in the city. You can see what they have to offer, like where to find the key to the next door. You may even visit the place where you lived before and see what is there. Your tutor will give you tips on the places to visit and help you locate your family history and how to tell where your family comes from. There are still lots of questions in the game, too. Some of them require you to learn how to do things using different tools, like mixing chemicals. Sometimes, the tutor will ask you to use the proper tools to carry out a job.Your friends will be glad to see that you are keeping up with your studies, as they too will get to take part in the game and help you out. Your friends will be able to give you tips on how to go about doing a job, as well. In fact, some of them may suggest different areas to see while the g ame is active. Of course, you can join in and help them.El Camino Chemistry Tutor is an interactive game, and is fun for kids and adults. It is sure to keep you busy, and save you a lot of time, too.

What is it Like to Attend Fordham University

What is it Like to Attend Fordham University The tutors behind Varsity Tutors are not just here to teach theyre sharing their college experiences as well. Pedro is a New York City tutor specializing in Physics tutoring, Geometry tutoring, multiple levels of Calculus tutoring, and more. He attended Fordham University at the Rose Hill Campus and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelors degree in Physics. See what he had to say about his school: VT: Describe the campus setting and transportation options. How urban or safe is the campus? Are there buses or do you need a car/bike? Pedro: Fordhams Rose Hill is a very safe, enclosed campus. The surrounding areas, including Fordham Road (a major shopping district in The Bronx) and Little Italy, are very urban and not the safest neighborhoods, though very lively. The transportation to and from campus, however, is superb and very safe. The Fordham stop on the Metro North Railroad (which goes express into and out of Manhattan 24/7) is a few meters away from a campus entrance. Fordham offers free shuttle buses (operated by campus security) to and from the nearby D and 4 subways stations at night. In general, NYC public transit is reliable and efficient. VT: How available are the professors, academic advisers, and teaching assistants? Pedro: Professors at Fordham are very accessible and approachable. My professors often invited me to office hours for aid in many aspects of scholastic work (homework, general advice, and clarifications, for example). In my experience, professors usually replied within a few hours to emails sent, and very often replied late nights before assignments were due. VT: How would you describe the dorm life - rooms, dining options, location, socialization opportunities with other students? Pedro: During my time at Fordham, I lived off campus, as many students choose to do. I lived in the Belmont area a few city blocks away (10 to be precise) and rode my bike to class each day. Freshmen are required to dorm on campus for their first year, and doing so allows for socialization with other freshmen. On campus dining is not the best, though being located next to Little Italy allows for great dining options off campus (head to Pugsleys for the best Pizza in The Bronx). The night-life in Little Italy is also very lively. VT: Which majors/programs are best represented and supported? What did you study and why? Did the university do a good job supporting your particular area of study? Pedro: I believe Fordham does a great job in supporting programs across disciplines. Being a liberal arts school, great focus is placed on the Humanities, though Business and other popular programs are very well attended. I majored in Physics. The Physics Dept. at Fordham is phenomenal, as it is relatively small (though it has its own building) and as such students become very familiar with the exceptional faculty and are known to form a good community among themselves. Fordham has been very successful in incentivizing STEM program students to participate in undergraduate research and in my experience is eager to fund research across all disciplines. VT: How easy or difficult was it for you to meet people and make friends as a freshman? Does Greek life play a significant role in the campus social life? Pedro: I transferred into Fordham for my second year of college, and as such did not participate in many of the events freshmen partake in to become part of the community (such as freshmen orientation). I did, however, find a great community among my classmates in the Physics Dept. In my experience, and from speaking with friends, Fordham is home to many clubs and programs for a great variety of students (from commuter students, to politically inclined students, to students looking to experience new things). The Greek life community at Fordham is not very strong, from my experience, as students tend to join clubs devoted to their particular interests as opposed to sororities and fraternities. VT: How helpful is the Career Center and other student support services? Do many reputable companies recruit on campus? Pedro: Upon graduation, the Career Center was very involved with trying to help me transition into the workforce. They offer two big annual job fairs (Spring and Fall) and an online job board which gives the option of being notified when a job meets your criteria. Coming from a background in Physics, I was able to meet recruiters from IBM and several other technology companies, for example. Having mentioned the opportunities available, I should state that the student often has to take his or her own initiative in going to recruitment meetings and job fairs, though they are always very well advertised. VT: How are the various study areas such as libraries, student union, and dorm lounges? Are they over-crowded, easily available, spacious? Pedro: I spent a great amount of time in the library, which is very expansive and thorough. The Physics Dept. has a designated Physics Club Room for students, where other students and I spent most of our time in between and after classes. The Club Room was very comfortable and had good resources. The main library itself is very big (four stories) and spacious, though during midterm and finals week it tends to get very crowded. VT: Describe the surrounding town. What kinds of outside establishments / things to do are there that make it fun, boring, or somewhere in between? To what extent do students go to the downtown area of the city versus staying near campus? Pedro: Little Italy is a great neighborhood, and offers great restaurants and a good nightlife for those over 21. During the day, the Fordham Rd. shopping district is always buzzing with activity and one gets to experience some facets of Bronx culture up to as much detail as they want. In the case that one may want to experience the rest of NYC, it is a 15-20 minute walk to the D and 4 subway stops (which go from The Bx into Manhattan and then into BK) and a 1-3 minute walk to the Metro North Fordham station (depending on how fast one walks), which can get one into the heart of NY in as little as 20 minutes. VT: How big or small is the student body? Were you generally pleased or displeased with the typical class sizes? Pedro: There is a big undergraduate population (~8,500). The Rose Hill campus is very big, and one can choose to be immersed in the student body in popular locations on campus or relatively isolated. The Physics Dept. at Fordham is relatively very small (about 15 Physics and Engineering Physics majors graduated last year, including myself), but class sizes for core classes can reach up to 50. Other departments and popular programs are very big. but on average class sizes remain at about 25 students. The biggest class size I was a part of was above 100 people (Chemistry I) and the smallest was 4 people (Quantum Mechanics). I loved being part of a small department, but in other classes (average of 25 students), I felt very comfortable participating and was never underwhelmed or overwhelmed. VT: Describe one memorable experience with a professor and/or class. Perhaps one you loved the most or one you regret the most. Pedro: Physics classes are full of great jokes. After the students and professors get to know one another better, classes are often laid back and very supportive of inquiry and search for insight. I was inspired by many professors at Fordham from a number of departments, though a particularly fun class was Advanced Laboratory, as all students were upperclassmen and the professor had gotten to know us very well. We were often allowed to work on tangentially related projects such as programming robots or finding the most aerodynamically efficient form of a paper airplane. In one particular case, my colleagues and I were successful in programming a two-wheeled robot to roll from our lab into a class being taught by another Physics professor and stop in the middle of the room for a few minutes, turn around, and exit the room. The goal was to make it sing a song for the professor and introduce itself to the class. Check out Pedros tutoring profile. 5 Questions to Ask Your Childs Doctor before Taking a Summer ADHD Medication Holiday

5 Questions to Ask Your Child’s Doctor before Taking a Summer ADHD Medication Holiday Many parents consider having their child take a break from his or her ADHD medication over the summer. Research shows that there are in fact some benefits to summer medication holidays for children who take ADHD medication. For kids who experience medication side effects, such as insomnia, decreased appetite, or slowed physical growth, a summer break can provide relief and chance to catch up in weight gain and growth. Summer medication breaks also give parents an opportunity to observe their childs ADHD symptoms when his or her medication is not in effect. In fact, the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends short ADHD medication breaks periodically as a strategy for assessing whether medication or not the medication is still effective and necessary. If the child behaves very similarly on and off ADHD medication, then either the medication isnt doing its job and adjustments are needed, or the childs symptoms have improved to the point where medication is no longer needed. Are you considering a summer ADHD medication holiday for your child? Start by talking with your childs doctor. Having answers to the following questions will allow you make an informed decision, and will help you create an effective plan for getting the most out of a summer medication break. How will we evaluate changes in my childs ADHD symptoms? Ask your doctor about rating scales you can complete before and after your child discontinues his or her medication. It can be helpful to also have camp counselors or summer instructors complete rating scales. Make sure you or an instructor is able to observe your child during some academic activities over the summer so that your childs ability to stay focused can be assessed. How will the break affect my child during summer activities? For some children, ADHD medication primarily serves as a tool for managing symptoms during activities that place a high demand on attention, like sitting in a classroom, reading a book, or doing homework. For other children medication also significantly helps manage attention, impulse control, and hyperactivity when they are playing sports, interacting with friends, participating in less structured games and activities, and traveling on family vacations. Share your childs summer plans with the doctor and ask how a summer medication break may affect your child during his or her activities. Are there any safety concerns around taking a medication break? If your child is very impulsive and required intense supervision before starting an ADHD medication, discuss whether a summer medication holiday is compatible with your current childcare and vacation plans. What will we do if we need to reintroducea modified ADHD medication schedule that can accommodate summer academic activities? If you would like to take a summer medication break but are concerned about the impact it will have on your childs summer learning activities, talk to your doctor about a modified summer medication plan. Can the frequency of his or her medication be reduced by taking it only on days when academic activities are scheduled? Or, if he or she is attending a summer program that only has academic enrichment activities in the morning, is a short-acting medication that wears off by the afternoon an option? If medication needs to be restarted this summer, what steps should be taken? Have a plan in place for restarting medication in the event that your childs ADHD symptoms begin to interfere with his or her daily activities this summer. Will you be able to quickly schedule an appointment with your childs doctor? Or will they be able to provide a simple phone consultation? If you need to restart your child on a lower dose of his or her medication and gradually work back up to the current dose, how long will that process take? Summer ADHD medication holidays can be beneficial for some children with ADHD. By creating a plan and working closely with your childs doctor the medication break can go as smoothly as possible. Youll be setting your child up for success so that he or she can enjoy the summer and make the most of his or her time off from school! ABOUT DR. When you are learning new vocabulary and it is a countable noun be sure to write an article with the noun. After you have written a paper or an essay underline all the nouns. Why We Need Better Gun Control Laws Now

Why We Need Better Gun Control Laws Now Photo Credit: watchdog.org The tragic shooting of these two young journalists, which Flanagan recorded and spread on his social media  accounts,  comes just weeks after other incidents of gun violence have occurred in the U.S. On Thursday, July 23, John Russel Houser, 59, stood up in a movie theater in Lafayette, Louisiana, during a showing of the Amy Schumer comedy “Trainwreck” and fired into the crowd of movie-watchers, killing two people and injuring numerous others. On Wednesday, June 17, Dylann Roof, 21, killed nine people during  Bible study in Charleston, South Carolina, in hopes of starting a race war; all nine of his victims were black. Beyond these shootings, other horrific bouts of gun violence have plagued America going back years. In September 2013, lone gunman Aaron Alexis killed 12 people in a mass shooting in the Washington Navy Shipyard in Washington, D.C. In December 2012, 20 children and  six adults were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School when Adam Lanza, 20, went on a shooting spree. In July 2012, gunman James Holmes killed 12 people and injured 70 others when he went on a mass shooting spree during a midnight screening of the Batman film “The Dark Knight Rises” in Aurora, Colorado. In January 2011, six people died and 19 people were shot, including U.S. Representative Gabrielle Gifford, when gunman Jared Lee Loughner fired his pistol into the crowd at a constituent meeting in a supermarket parking lot in Tucson, Arizona. In February 2010, Amy Bishop, a biology professor, stood up and killed three people during a department meeting at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. In November 2009, 12 people were killed and more than 30 were injured by Nidal Malik Hasan when he went on a shooting rampage at Fort Hood in Texas. In February 2008, five people were killed and 21 were injured  by gunman  Steven Kazmierczak at the Northern Illinois University. In April 2007, 32 people were shot and killed at Virginia Tech by senior student Seung-Hui Cho, in the deadliest shooting incident by a single gunman in U.S. history. The list of shooting sprees goes on â€" as does the list of victims who were killed by these senseless acts of violence. Why then has no progress on gun control been made? Journalists Alison Parker and Adam Ward were killed August 26, live on air in Virginia.Photo Credit: Getty The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was adopted in 1789, and states that “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The language of the amendment has sparked debate over the intended range of this right, but as it stands, that right has been fairly unrestricted for hundreds of years. Which makes efforts to restrict that amendment so much harder. While there’s something to be said about protecting the individual’s fundamental rights, there also comes a time when the government needs to restrict this right for the greater good and for the safety of society. The two acts that have been passed that somewhat practice gun control are the 1934 National Firearms Act and the 1968 Gun Control Act, though both deal more with  HOW people can buy guns and the ways in which they can be ordered and transported, rather than WHO can access guns. The only real law that’s been passed that helps regulate who can buy guns is the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, which was enacted in 1993. It required licensed gun dealers to do federal background checks on people attempting to buy firearms by using the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NCIS), which is kept up by the FBI. The Brady Act includes conditions which prohibit people from buying guns. They include: those who have been convicted in a court of any crime punishable by a prison term over one year, are a fugitive from justice, are an unlawful user of or addict to any controlled substance, have been committed to a mental institution, are an illegal alien, were discharged from the Army dishonorably, have renounced U.S. citizenship,  are under a court order prohibiting them from harassing, stalking, or threatening a partner or child, or have been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence. Many states have laws that add other criteria which can disqualify an individual from being able to buy a gun. This act may seem like it restricts a lot and is effective gun control, and in some shooting incidents, it should’ve been enough to prohibit the gunman from purchasing a weapon. Such is the case with Charleston shooter Dylann Roof, who should’ve been rejected by NCIS as he was arrested for possession of narcotics and admitted to the drug crime, but a mistake in the FBI system allowed him to buy a gun. However, the gun Flanagan used to kill Alison Parker and Adam Ward was legally purchased, and that and another Glock pistol were bought after the Charleston church massacre of nine black people. Flanagan was able to pass a background check, even though before he was fired by the station he was told to seek help for mental health problems. While employed at the TV station, colleagues complained they felt threatened or uncomfortable working with Flanagan. Now I don’t know whether stricter gun control laws would’ve been able to disqualify Flanagan from purchasing a gun as he had no criminal record and complaints at work cant really be used in background checks.  However, I do know that more restrictive gun control laws and universal background checks would go a long way in helping diminish shooting sprees and gun violence, while not overly impinging on American citizens’ Second Amendment rights. We cannot afford to let media hype and political attention to this issue die down before any progress has been made, as has been the problem in the past, because we deserve to feel safe whether we’re going to a movie, to work, to college, or  anywhere else. The time for tougher gun laws is now.

Top smartphone apps for travelers

Top smartphone apps for travelers By: Jack White For teachers headed overseas, one of the smartest things to pack (and maybe among the lightest!) is a smartphone. Leave the travel guides, multilingual dictionaries, and GPS at home and instead download these apps to help you get the most out of your teaching overseas experience. FlightAware (free/Android, iOS): Check your flight arrival and departure times in real-time, anywhere in the world. This app spares you any nasty surprises when you arrive at the airport. If you're still stuck on the tarmac, FlightAware can't help you - but it can provide you useful info that the flight crew might not be sharing with the cabin. TripAdvisor (free/Android, iOS): Explore your destination before you've even left for the airport with this valuable app. It also allows you to bookmark hotels, attractions, landmarks, and restaurants that you might want to check out - and save the essential information for offline use. Word Lens (free/iOS, Android): Not even sure how to type the text you're trying to decipher? This useful app just needs a photo to provide you with an English translation. While it is a free app, the language packs do require an in-app purchase. Google Goggles (free/iOS, Android): Google Glass is a cool concept but a terrible fashion move. This app allows you to use your smartphone to access the same information without looking like a total nerd. Point your camera at the landmark, building, or establishment and you'll be provided with relevant information pulled from the Internet. FourSquare (free/iOS, Android): A great app for checking nearby landmarks, cafes, and restaurants, FourSquare started as a social network marketing tool but is now a terrific resource for travelers worldwide. Get tips from fellow tourists and locals, and find out about Happy Hour deals and discount certificates during your stay. Galileo ($4/iOS): Maps are essential for navigating around a new city, and this handy mapping application downloads Street Map data for offline use. Great for Starbucks or hotel wifi pit stops that can later be used on the go. Wi-Fi Finder (free/iOS, Android): The modern traveler is always on the lookout for decent wifi hotspots, and this app is here to help. It not only detects nearby spots that are free, it provides directions to the nearest source. WhatsApp Messenger ($0.99/iOS, free/Android): For a small fee on iOS and a free download on Android, you can use this app to keep in touch with friends back home and abroad for free. While standard data charges apply, you won't get stung for unlimited texting, pictures, videos, sound clips, and GPS links. Do you have apps that you’ve used that have been a lifesaver while abroad? Chemistry Styles in Football - How Does Chemistry Styles Work?Just what is the difference between football and soccer and how do chemistry styles work in these sports? What is the method of building up or boosting the performance of a team and how can chemistry play a part in this?Football and soccer are both very popular games and are played worldwide. The object of each game is to win and this is done by collecting more points than your opponent. A point is the basic unit of football and is worth a point when awarded and in soccer is worth a goal, assist or a goal.Soccer is played with the ball on a flat surface that is divided into 18 squares called 'squares'. The sides of the square are known as 'fields' and there are 3 teams in the game that include the goalkeeper and the forwards. In football the game is broken down into four sectors where the ball is placed and there are different formations for each team. While in soccer the players use their own skills and techniques, in foot ball the players need to be able to combine their skills and techniques in order to win the game. So far as soccer is concerned, it can be said that it is more competitive than football as the rules are very strict and most players do not like to lose.Chemistry Styles in Football: There are two ways that chemistry can be used to boost the performance of a team. Firstly, it can be incorporated into the strategy plan. The second way in which chemistry can be used is through the performances of the team. It is in this manner that football is regarded as being more skill based than soccer and therefore football can be classified as a more skill-oriented sport. There are many teams who go into competition as a team rather than individually. This gives them the advantage of playing together to win the game. This also makes the game faster and hence quicker to play. The third factor is that the players who do the best work together so they make the most of their ability together.Football fa ns will appreciate chemistry Styles in Football teams will benefit from a good game plan and an excellent performance from their players. This will be a vital part of winning a football match as the players must work together in order to win the game. So if you are interested in football then it is advisable that you try to learn how to create a team that works well together.

The Life Science of Belief

The Life Science of BeliefThe life science of belief is the discipline that studies how people and groups, organizations, societies, religions, cultures, ideologies and peoples make sense of their beliefs. Biology of belief has been studied for decades. It's believed to be the oldest of the living sciences and might have originated as early as the Hippocratic Oath. It has been observed in all cultures, in all nations, from all points of view, and in all levels of knowledge and intellectual attainment. There are three branches of biological sciences which are related to biology of belief. These branches are descriptive, evolutionary and historical. The branches are: biological systems, morphology, phylogeny, genomics, organismal history, ecology, embryology, and culture. All three branches of biology of belief have a common core: how people make sense of their beliefs. This core includes common assumptions, common types of cause and effect relationships, common structures of scientific practice, and the processes of common knowledge, understanding, and interpretation.Human biology of belief study is distinguished by the diversity of its perspectives on the human mind, and their interaction with the environment. They include political, social, cultural, and environmental perspectives on how people make sense of their beliefs. While these perspectives are distinguished by their fields of study, they all have common elements: culture, politics, social practices, and the environment. Different perspectives are different ways of making sense of the same fundamental aspects of culture and politics, while each perspective is built upon the other.Biological sciences are concerned with the distribution of life forms and their interactions with their environments. The human body is a complex combination of living systems, cells, tissues, organs, and tissues. As such, it can be understood in light of the ecological processes and relationships of the environment. In this way , the human biological sciences of belief study human life and the interactions between the environment and the human. The study of the human body can include study of anatomy, physiology, cellular biochemistry, genetics, neurobiology, physiology, and psychology. The methods of study in the biology of belief can include studies of behavior, physiology, cognitive processes, experience, and neural function. These methods of study to help to understand the mechanisms of action and influence that underlie human behavior and brain functions. They also help to understand the relationships between biology of belief and the other human sciences of belief. These methods of study are applied to the social sciences, like psychology, sociology, history, and anthropology. The study of the human mind is important to understand human cognition, decision-making, and intentionality. A study of the human body helps to understand how the human mind learns and stores information. A study of the social fa ctors that affect human behavior helps to understand how institutions, cultures, economies, and even civil wars have an impact on human decisions.Human biology of belief integrates the social sciences of human understanding. It provides methods of integrating the human sciences with the social sciences of understanding. With an understanding of what people understand about life and their beliefs, it provides new perspectives that will help to build understanding across the human sciences of belief. Each field of biology of belief has a distinct perspective. Each field has a unique way of looking at human cognition, behavior, and influence, thus giving it its own unique scope.

What Is Intensive Property Definition?

What Is Intensive Property Definition?Comprehensive and intensive property definition are both a practical field of study and an integral part of the chemistry. In this field, the student needs to know all the processes and chemicals related to the process of developing, refining and manufacturing materials. In most of the cases, intensive property definition will be in short in sections. In this process, all those systems, processes, or chemical properties that are vital for the development of the quality of a material will be studied. Some of the system and chemical properties are as follows. The material is unstable in any sort of climate as well as in its contact with the environment. Hence, the materials research may concentrate on these properties. The nature of the materials is essential in industrial systems to be able to use them to meet different uses. Material defines the utilization system and is a key element in many industrial applications. Thus, chemistry will always guid e the course of their development in any set of process or material. One of the fundamental property of all such processes and material is their stability. Stability defines the process of the material when it is required. It is important to know all the basic nature of this process as it will help the student in understanding the chemistry. Stability can be associated with each of the processes of materials.Stability is also involved in several other fields such as biology and materials. This property is the essential factor that will help in the materials for the production of specific desired material. Stability of materials in the industrial processes will be based on the property. In most of the cases, exhaustive comprehensive definitions of the properties in terms of these processes and material will be present. Every material will be taught to the students. These are all the aspects that will help the students in learning the principles of chemistry.
